The passenger who forced a flight from Indianapolis to land due to suspected suspicious behavior will not face charges for what happened.
Republic Airlines flight 4817 made an emergency landing yesterday, around 3 pm, on the LaGuardia airport runway.
Authorities report that the passengers were concerned that the subject acted erratically while searching for their luggage.
After the forced landing, the authorities detained and questioned the suspect.
Today, the Port Authority reported that the FBI and other security agencies determined that there was no criminal act, which is why the subject was released.
During the misunderstanding no one was injured.
