Ubisoft Shares Free Far Cry 3 Game, Here’s How to Download and PC Specifications to Play
Jakarta: Good news for fans of Ubisoft’s Far Cry game series. The big game publisher is currently sharing their old game series, Far Cry 3. The game was first released in 2012.
Ubisoft is giving away the PC version of Far Cry 3 for a limited period. On the Ubisoft Connect software page, previously known as Uplay, an announcement will appear that Ubisoft is distributing the free game Far Cry 3 until September 3.
Far Cry 3 brings first-person shooter gameplay with action-RPG elements that are still being adopted until the Far Cry 6 series which will be released in the next few months. The open-world model of the game arena is also offered here.

Far Cry 3 presents a world with the theme of a tropical forest called Rook Island which is claimed to be inspired by the forests of Borneo. In this game, players will find characters with local names such as Citra and a group of local residents called Rakyat.

- Open the Ubisoft Connect application that is already installed on your computer or laptop. If not, download the application from the official Ubisoft website.
- Login with your account and password, if you don’t have an account yet, you can create one in that section.
- After successfully logging in, you will be presented with the main page or the News section. Here, slide the screen down until you see a menu that says Far Cry 3 Giveaway equipped with a photo of the game.
- Click the menu so that a new page will open. Here you simply click the button that says “Click here to claim” then continue until the claim process is complete.

The specifications for the game Far Cry 3 are not heavy for computers and laptops at this time considering that the game is very old aka old school. Ubisoft recommends a computer or laptop that uses a minimum of an Intel Core i3-530 or AMD Phenom II X2 processor with 4GB of RAM and an Nvidia 480 or AMD HD 5770 graphics card.
