It was explained that individual Dino stores are open at shorter than standard hours, which is related to the adaptation of the operation of these outlets to local regulations.
Dino opens new stores in Poland
Dino stores are available mainly in the western part of Poland, but the company intends to open its stores in the center and in the east in the future. Let us recall that some stores of this chain also accept customers on non-trading Sundays. In the summer of 2020, seven new activities were added to the Dino Polska Articles of Association. One of the novelties was “other postal and courier activities”.
In the second quarter of 2021, Dino Polska launched 91 new stores. In total, in the first half of 2021, 150 new stores of this chain were opened, compared to 84 in the same period last year. At the end of June 2021, the Dino chain comprised 1,622 stores, i.e. 320 more than the year before.
In the first half of 2021, Dino’s sales revenues increased from PLN 4.68 billion to PLN 6 billion (an increase by 28.3%), operating profit increased from PLN 334.8 million to PLN 438.4 million, and net profit increased to PLN 341 million from PLN 251.9 million a year earlier.
