The year was 1961, when Milan Lasica met Magda Vašáryová. He was 21 and studied at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. Her older sister Emília Vašáryová was his classmate. It hardly occurred to him that a 13-year-old girl would become his wife two decades later.
Weasel first married a year later. At the age of 22, he married the singer Zora Kolínská. Josef Abrhám also applied for it, but the red-haired Slovak diva preferred Lasic. But the relationship did not last, after eight years they divorced.
Vašáryová also had a failed marriage when she and Lasica started getting together. Her first husband was actor Dušan Jamrich.
Love between them began to be born only 20 years after the first meeting. Vašáryová, who later, in addition to her acting career, later embarked on a diplomatic career, even upset her future wife until then.
They were tapping in the locker room

As Vašáryová further confided, after the end of her marriage, she often went to visit Lasica and his colleague and friend Júlia Satinský in the locker room at the theater. “Mostly only Julo talked to me because he was communicative, unlike Milan,” she laughed. Satinský became famous in the Czech Republic for the role of Albert in the comedy I Enjoy the World with You.
In the end, however, it sparkled between her and Lasica, even though Vašáryová herself would not use the word. “It wasn’t romance or any enlightenment, but two people who had always known each other suddenly got together,” she remembered.
Sudden death on stage
Vašáryová and Lasica have daughters Hana and Žofia together. Their great love lasted over 40 years. They were divided by death, as they say in the most famous wedding vow.
On Sunday evening, Lasica performed with the orchestra at the annual concert at the L + S Studio in Bratislava. When he sang the song I am an optimist, he suddenly collapsed and jumped to the ground. The portal was the first to inform about it SME. The cause was a heart rhythm disorder.
