The automotive company Stellantis, formed by the merger of Italian and US carmaker Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and French Groupe PSA, has announced plans to develop four electric car platforms that will offer up to 800 kilometers on a single charge.
Stellantis points out that electric cars, which will be developed using the new chassis, will enter the market from 2023.
Small, SUVs and pickups will offer a mileage of 500 kilometers, while compact models will have a range of 700 kilometers on a single charge, while sedans will have a range of 800 kilometers.
Stellantis points out that this distance will be significantly longer than the electric cars currently available on the market.
