More positive tests (13,066), again more than average (10,495) | NOW

The RIVM reports on Sunday `13,066 new positive corona tests. That is again considerably more than the average in the past seven days (10,495). The daily figures were a lot higher in recent days because the disruption at the beginning of this week was compensated. It is unclear whether the disruption also affected Sunday’s figures.

The figures were lower on Monday (8,496) and Tuesday (6,682) due to system overload. Those overdue reports had to be compensated in recent days. It is not yet known with certainty whether the backlog has now been updated.

The RIVM reports on Sunday that another 32 people have died from the effects of the virus. That is less than Friday, when 56 deaths were reported.
