Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 119,184 cases of positivity have been recorded in Emilia Romagna, 2,172 more than yesterday, out of a total of 17,241 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 12.6%. 1,871 serological tests were also performed.
The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 1,009 are asymptomatic identified as part of the regional contact tracing and screening activities.
The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 413 cases, then that of Modena with 364, followed by Reggio Emilia (305), Ravenna (184), Parma (181), Piacenza (166), Rimini (162). Then Imola (143), Cesena (103), the province of Ferrara with 92 cases and Forlì (59).
The number of active cases, that is of actual patients, has dropped: to date there are 68,783 (-499 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, i.e. those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, are a total of 66,865 (-494), 95.8% of the total number of active cases.
Unfortunately, there are 71 new deaths, some relating to the past few days: 5 in the province of Piacenza (4 men, respectively 80, 70, 84, 69 years and a 96 year old woman; 2 women in the Parma area of 91 and 88 years, 3 in that of Reggio Emilia (1 woman of 71 and a woman of 80, a man of 78); 11 in that of Modena (4 women – of 82, 94, 80, 90 and 95 – and 7 men, respectively of 89, 67, 86, 88, 84,49 and 86 years); 11 in that of Bologna (4 men – of 78, 83 and two respectively of 86 – and 7 women, of 94, 85,86,93,72 , 96 and 95); 7 in the Ferrara area (4 men aged 73, 74, 68, 53 and 3 women aged 87, 72 and 91), 5 in the Ravenna area (3 men aged 82, 87 and 91 – and 2 women aged 87 and 78 years; 4 in the province of Rimini (of which 2 men aged 64 and 66 – and 2 women aged 101 and 90) and 23 in Forlì (12 women aged 82, 85, 89, 74, 78.91, 92,81,85,86,80 and 88 – 11 men aged 80,78,65,91, 90, 67,53, 92, 85,86, 83 and 87 years). The figure of Forlì is affected by an IT misalignment due to delays in approx data retrieval in recent days. There are 245 patients admitted to intensive care (-5 compared to yesterday), the number of hospitalized in other Covid wards unchanged compared to yesterday: 2,673.
In the area, patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 12 in Piacenza (-3), 15 in Parma (+ 1), 34 in Reggio Emilia (unchanged), 59 in Modena (-4), 57 in Bologna (+ 2 compared to yesterday), 5 in Imola (unchanged), 18 in Ferrara (-1), 16 in Ravenna (+ 1), 4 in Forlì (unchanged), 2 in Cesena (+1) and 23 in Rimini (-2 ).
As for the total number of people healed, they are 2,600 more than yesterday and reach 43,717.
These are the cases of positivity in the area since the beginning of the epidemic: 12,283 in Piacenza (+166 compared to yesterday, of which 64 symptomatic), 10,093 in Parma (+181, of which 98 symptomatic), 17,153 in Reggio Emilia (+305 172 of which symptomatic).
Since the beginning of the epidemic Modena has reached 21,574 (+364, of which 223 are symptomatic). 11,645 people have been healed.
20 cases and 3 deaths today in Carpi where the recorded infections have so far been 1,986, while the deaths rise to 97.
