The Czech players played the match as well as Thursday with Sweden, which they won. Only a few minutes at the beginning of the opening period, the Finns had more of the game, otherwise the team under coach Filip Pešán was confident in front of the goalkeeper Hrachovina, dared to attack and used quick lunges into the unprepared defense of the opponent.

National debutants presented themselves in both goals. On the Czech side, Dominik Hrachovina left after the first twenty minutes with a clean account, the Finnish counterpart Rajaniemi collected. The first goal was scored by Andrej Nestrašil in the 13th minute, when after a quick pass he shot four meters in front of the blue line and with his tough shot the goalkeeper did not manage.

In the 18th minute, they were lucky at home. Although they played a power play, Jan Ordoš won the puck and rode alone to the Finnish goalkeeper, the puck ended up on the stick.

Nineteen-year-old Jaromír Pytlík also spent the first minutes in the national team. “I have to say it’s a bit faster than junior hockey, but so far we’re doing well, we’re doing, so great. At the beginning, I was a little nervous, but the boys helped me, it fell out of me, and I believe that it will be better and better, “Pytlík commented for the Czech Television on the opening third.

The first minute of the middle third and another change of score. Ordoš scored the first national team goal, when he processed a pass from the defensive third from Michal Moravčík and went alone to the Finnish goalkeeper, this time he did not hit the stick, he increased to 2: 0 with a shot under the catch. “I hope someone took my puck. We knew that the Finns would fly at us when they lost to the Russians, but Hrášek supported us and we are playing very well so far, “Ordoš said on Czech Television after the second part.

In the middle of the match, the Finns had a great chance, they played the second power play, but even this time they did not come to Hrachovina. On the other hand, Ordoš could raise again after a few minutes, but this time he didn’t mature for Rajaniemi.

In the third part, the Finns knew they had to add, otherwise they would lose again in front of their own fans. The Czech team managed to solve everything, always playing Hrachovina in the goal as the last instance.

After six minutes, the home team got the third numerical advantage, they did not use it again. In a few minutes another followed, until the end of the third period there were less than eight minutes left and the Czech defensive four still played clearly. But Lenc fouled and the Finns had twice the numerical advantage for 18 seconds. They didn’t use the home team, but they still had a classic power play. They didn’t manage it again, another torment in the home tournament.

In the 60th minute, the Finns tried the game without a goalkeeper, they played at six, but even this attempt was unsuccessful.

The Czechs will finish the tournament on Sunday from 12:30 with Russia after Thursday’s win at Sweden 3: 1 and Saturday with Finland 2: 0.
