Suspicion of money laundering
The detectives of the combi team then suspected money laundering. After the arrest, the suspects were taken from Schiedam for questioning. In addition to the eight tons, the administration was also seized in the two homes. Customs money dogs were used during the searches.
The investigation is led by the Public Prosecution Service Rotterdam. The Regional Financial Team is a combined team of the police, FIOD and the Public Prosecution Service.
