In Lithuania, five new cases of covid-19 infection were registered on Saturday, and two more were registered on Sunday. During the last 24 hours, 368 analyzes were performed in Estonia and one new case of infection with Covid-19 was detected, the Health Department announced on Sunday.
Two of those infected, who were discovered in Lithuania on Saturday, came from the United States, but one of those infected on Sunday recently visited relatives in Belarus.
By Sunday, a total of 1,815 cases of infection had been registered in Lithuania. 1503 of those who have recovered have recovered, but 224 are still ill. 78 covid-19 patients have died.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 416,739 analyzes have been performed in Lithuania, of which 1947 on Saturday.
On Sunday morning, four covid-19 patients were hospitalized in Estonia, one of whom was connected to a ventilator.
No new covid-19 deaths have been reported in Estonia.
A total of 105,000 analyzes were performed in Estonia, detecting 1987 cases of infection. 69 of those infected have died.
