The body needs to walk, move and be active every day in order to perform its functions properly and, in case of lack or insufficient movement, changes occur that indicate the body’s need to do so.

Signs that the body needs movement

1- Constipation

Being sedentary can increase feelings of anxiety and depression, while walking, cycling, swimming, and running can boost mood and boost self-confidence.

4- Weight gain

Walking and moving constantly helps to burn more fat and calories, unlike sitting for a long time, which leads to weight gain due to the accumulation of fat.

5- Difficulty sleeping

In case of difficulty sleeping at night and persistent insomnia, doctors recommend moving around during the day and maintaining regular pleasant activities, so that the person can sleep better and more deeply at night.

6- Hypertension and diabetes

Spending more time sitting increases the risk of developing high blood pressure, which inevitably leads to risks for heart disease, such as coronary artery disease and heart attacks.
