6 Reasons People Believe Climate Change Is A Hoax, When It’s Real

Jakarta

Climate change is the real thing, but in fact there are still some people who believe that climate change Hoax. There are many reasons, but at least 6 reasons below are the most used.

Launching the official website of the University of Hull, Saturday (10/23/2021), the reasons for those who believe that climate change is a hoax are as follows:

1. Climate change is part of a natural cycle

There is such a thing as a natural cycle but not all events can be answered with that reason.

“Another problem with natural cycles is that people are looking at sample sizes that are too small,” said Mike Rogerson, senior lecturer in Earth System Science at the University of Hull.

“A cold winter in the US doesn’t deny climate change. Have you checked how hot it is in Asia at the same time? We need to look globally and longer than just the last few years.”

Just look at the annual average of ground surface temperatures around the world. From 1910 to 2010 the fact is always increasing.

2. Climate change is normal, life will adapt

The fact is that the rate climate change puts great ecological pressure on our environment. Insects, small mammals, and fish they all have nowhere to go.

“Even humans are stuck in uninhabitable areas. You’re just going to try to sell your house if it’s in a floodplain predicted in the future. If you can’t get out of your mortgage, you’ll be stuck there with the oaks and squirrels, ” said Mike.

3. Why does it still rain often?

The answer to this one is very simple. The sun heats the planet. Heat evaporates water. Steam collects as clouds. Rain falls from the clouds. In short: the hotter, the wetter.

Recent research from the University of Hull on Libya’s weather patterns over the past 10,000 years has proven this, with rainfall increasing with the increase in average annual temperatures.
