5,863 new cases of COVID-19 in Bulgaria, with 4,493 more than yesterday





5,863 were confirmed new cases of coronavirus patients in the last 24 hours or 11.34% of those tested. The cases are 4,493 more than yesterday, the Unified Information Portal reports.

The newcomers to the hospital are 1379, 90.72% of them have not been vaccinated.

So far, 23,316 people have died. Statistics show that 96.30% of the dead have not been vaccinated.

The active cases are 82,910. 51,688 tests were performed during the last 24 hours.

The total number of confirmed cases is 575,306, and the number of cured cases is 469,080, and in the last 24 hours they are 2,022.

There are 7,128 hospitalized and 608 in intensive care units.

The total tested are 5,327,945. The total set doses are 2,743,549, in the last 24 hours they are 15,166.
