56.9 million for companies in the Mainz-Bingen district

MAINZ-BINGEN – (red). In 2020, the Investment and Structural Bank Rhineland-Palatinate (ISB) supported private and commercial customers in the Mainz-Bingen district with a total of 56.9 million euros. As part of the processing of the Corona aid programs, the development bank in the Mainz-Bingen district has made 4724 commitments totaling 37.4 million euros. In business development, 8.8 million euros were allocated to 54 applications, which were mainly granted for entrepreneur and start-up loans as well as grants for consulting and trade fair costs. A total of 259 jobs were secured and created with the respective measures. In the social housing promotion programs, the purchase, construction and modernization of a total of 104 residential units were funded with 10.7 million euros.

“We are pleased about the funding commitments in connection with the Corona aid. Because numerous entrepreneurs in the district are currently impaired in their business activities due to various restrictions, ”says District Administrator Dorothea Schäfer. “Nevertheless, we can see that there is still great interest in building in our cities and villages – this applies to living space, but also to business.”
