Concept of interactive widgets in iOS 15
Apple has done a really good job with the changes incorporated in iOS 14 and iPadOS 14, in fact the company continues to release updates regularly to fine-tune details that need to be fine-tuned and add security and stability improvements.
But it’s February and Apple has less left to reveal the news of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 at WWDC 2021, likely to be held in June. The most reasonable is therefore to think that the software engineers of the Cupertino company are already working on the development of new functions.

What do we hope to see in iOS 15?
1. The Split View function on iPhone Pro Max models

We all know how useful the Split View and Slide Over functions can be on the iPad, which is why we iPhone users have long been asking Apple to implement the split screen on their smartphones, or at least on their cell phones with the bigger screen like the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Last year, with the arrival of iOS 14, logo company Bitten Apple implemented Picture-in-Picture on its iPhones so that users could play foreground video while performing other background actions, so why not wait for split-screen multitasking features?

2. Permanent display
Always-on screen concept.
This other function has been carried over to other Apple devices as well, in the previous case we were talking about the iPad split screen and this time we do the same with the Apple Watch always on screen. This function allows the smartwatch screen to always show the time, even if the power consumption is significantly higher.
In the case of iPhones, Apple could take advantage of its larger screen not only to display the date and time at all times, but also to include the most important notifications and the battery status.
3. Widgets on the lock screen

Apple has introduced some very interesting visual changes in iOS 14 widgets that dramatically improve the user experience when browsing the Home screen. But as reported by iDropNews, these widgets could also be available on the lock screen or, as we said before, on the always-on screen.
The new iOS 15 widgets would offer users preview more information in a much faster and more comfortable way, without the need to perform touch gestures on the screen, just by lifting your iPhone.

4. A screen sharing function

We recently saw how Instagram launched a very interesting feature in one of its latest updates that allowed content to be shared between two users who were making a video call. It could be very interesting for FaceTime on iOS 15.
With this function it would be possible share what you see on your screen with another user via iOS 15 video call, and if we push to the limit, it would also be wonderful if we could do that in group video conferencing for meetings, projects and jobs. Imagine being able to share a Netflix series, YouTube videos, events on your calendar, or just a few memes with someone while browsing the web.
No doubt these improvements would be of great interest to iPhone users!
5. More visual improvements on the home screen

IOS 14 widgets, as detailed above, have dramatically improved the look of the iPhone home screen. But there are still things that can be improved. For example, offer more customization options or include more sizes and shapes for the widget panels.
Plus, there’s a lot of unused space between apps and apps in the Dock, space that could make the most of the screen.
