Spanish press reports revealed the discovery of 5 new cases of the new Corona virus “Covid 19” among players active in different leagues in Spain before the resumption of the current season.
The Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo reported that after the recent medical tests for the players in preparation for the completion of the competitions of the current season 2019-2020, 5 positive cases were discovered.
The newspaper added that the tests revealed the infection of 3 players with the Corona virus in 3 different teams in LaLiga, while there are two other players infected with the virus in one team, the Spanish second division, pointing out that these results are not final, as the Spanish League League headed by Javier Tipas did not receive the results of the tests Which took place yesterday Thursday so far.
On the other hand, the Mexican Javier Aguirre, the former technical director of our national team, and the current Leganes team, revealed the date for the resumption of the current season of the Spanish league, which has been suspended since mid-March, due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus, in addition to its end date.
Aguirre said in statements to the Mexican newspaper “Marca Claro” that the La Liga Clubs Association informed the Spanish league teams that the current season 2019-2020 will resume from next June 20, and that the season will end on July 26.
The Mexican coach added that all the La Liga teams will play two games per week, in order to end the current season on the date set by the European Football Association.
