A census carried out by Fasecolda, the insurance union and the companies in the sector, indicates that in Colombia women are the safest shoppersespecially in what has to do with the health, future and education of children.

According to Miguel Gómez, president of Fasecolda, “women are more foresighted with their own future and that of their family and that is why they are the ones who buy the most insurance in Colombia”, emphasizing that of the total number of insured in the country, 51.4% are women.
