The Ile-de-France ARS (Regional Health Agency) announced this Sunday evening that now four deputies have tested positive for the Covid-19 coronavirus. In addition, two agents from the Palais Bourbon were also hit.
Health surveys have been carried out and management measures have been taken by the services of the National Assembly to limit the possible spread of the virus. The confirmed cases were placed in isolation to specify the chains of contamination and identify the different contact cases, we learned in a press release.
The first two cases of elected officials affected concerned LaREM deputy for Haute-Garonne Élisabeth Toutut-Picard, as well as LR deputy for Haut-Rhin Jean-Luc Reitzer, who is still in intensive care.
