4 Days In A Row, Thailand Prints The Highest Record Of Corona Cases

Authority Thailand another record high for additional daily cases corona virus (COVID-19) in its territory for four consecutive days. The country has just announced the expansion of Corona restrictions to control the emergence of new outbreaks.

As reported Reuters, Monday (19/7/2021), Thailand’s COVID-19 task force in its latest announcement on Monday (19/7) local time reported 11,784 Corona cases in the last 24 hours in its territory.

The figure shifts the previous record high recorded on Sunday (18/7) local time, when Thailand reported 11,397 cases in a day.

Thai authorities also reported 81 deaths in a day.

With this addition, the total number of Corona cases in Thailand has now reached 415,170 cases, with a total of 3,422 deaths.

On Sunday (18/7) local time, the Thai government announced the expansion of Corona restrictions to include travel restrictions and the imposition of a curfew in three additional provinces.

Announcements via the Royal Gazette from the Thai authorities indicate that shopping malls in Thailand will be temporarily closed and a curfew from 21.00 to 04.00 local time will be enforced from Tuesday (20/7) tomorrow in the provinces of Chonburi, Ayutthaya and Chacoengsao.
