BEIJING, Feb.28 (Xinhua) – Total bond issuance in China reached 4.3 trillion yuan (about $ 664.5 billion) in January, according to central bank data.
Treasury bill issues reached 574 billion yuan, while local government bond issues amounted to 362.34 billion yuan, according to the People’s Bank of China.
Last month, financial bond issuance reached 947.2 billion yuan, and corporate bond issuance reached 1.2 trillion yuan. Issues of asset-backed securities were 119.38 billion yuan, and those of interbank certificates of deposit reached 1.1 trillion yuan.
