“This coin reminds people that freedom is the highest value and a very high price must be paid,” said Madis Miller, governor of the Bank of Estonia.
The central bank of Estonia @Estonian Bank issued 2 euro coins dedicated to #Ukraine. Today they come into circulation.
The coin was designed by Ukrainian refugee Daria Titova.

“Ukraine is currently fighting for the life of its people, for the common values of the European cultural space, and it is up to us to continue to uphold them,” he added.
Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas tweeted that the new coins “will be a daily reminder of Ukraine’s fight for freedom and its future in the EU”.
