Some Regions also register record growth. Taking into consideration only the most affected – because the virus is spreading throughout the country with data on the rise – this situation is observed with never seen before daily numbers by Region: the Lombardy has over 11 thousand cases (+11.489) and exceeds its peak yesterday, the Veneto with positive +3.815 it exceeds its own yesterday’s peak (they were +3,387) and the Tuscany with +2.787 slightly exceeds its previous peak of October 30 (they were +2,765). Beyond the threshold of 4 thousand (without record) there are: Piedmont (+4.437) e Campania (+4.309), while with four-digit data we find: Lazio (+2.618), Emilia Romagna (+2.009), Sicily (+1.363, above the threshold of one thousand since November 1st), Liguria (+1.092) e Puglia (+1,054). A small record is also in Calabria – positioned in the red zone – which with +392 beats its peak of November 5 (they were + 358).

Note that the positive current – the people who now have the coronavirus – are over half a million (532,536 to be precise), of which about 95% (equal to 504,793) is in home isolation.

Pressure on hospitals increases. THE hospitalized patients with symptoms are 25.109 (+1.104, + 4.6%; yesterday +749), while the most seriously ill in intensive care I’m 2.634 (+119, + 4.7%; yesterday +124). These data are visible in the table above, in the second and third columns from the left. Recall that the peak of hospitalizations occurred on April 4th with 29,010 people in hospital and the peak of sick people in intensive care occurred on 3rd April with 4,068 patients in this ward.
