340 passengers were not allowed on trains without COVID documents – UZ

Train passengers checked for COVID documents

In total, since October 21, more than 125,000 passengers have been transported by long-distance and Intercity trains.

Since the inception of the new rules for passenger transportation, 340 passengers without COVID documents have not been allowed on the trains. About it informs press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.

According to the head of the passenger direction of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia Oleksandr Pertsovskiy, since October 21, more than 125,000 passengers have been transported by long-distance and Intercity trains.

He noted that in general, the situation with the transportation of passengers is absolutely controllable.

Ukrzaliznytsia reminded that long-distance rail transportation is allowed to passengers, provided they have: a train ticket; identity document; a document confirming the receipt of at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, or a document confirming the receipt of a full course of vaccination (international, domestic or foreign certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative result of a PCR test or an express test for determining the SARS coronavirus antigen) CoV-2.

For passengers under the age of 18, the presence of the above documents, except for a travel document and an identity document, is not required.

Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved new rules for passenger transportation for the duration of the quarantine.
