NEW YORK, May 8 (Xinhua) – Three people, including a four-year-old girl, were shot and injured in Times Square in New York on Saturday afternoon, police said.

The shooting occurred around 5 p.m. local time (9 p.m. GMT) at the corner of 44th Street and 7th Avenue in Manhattan, New York, authorities said.

The victims have been transferred to a nearby hospital and are expected to survive.

It is an argument between several individuals which seems to have led at least one of them to draw a weapon and to open fire, affirmed the police force.

No arrests have yet been made. New York Police posted a video on their Twitter account showing a suspected suspect.

The case is still ongoing.
