On Thursday April 21, at the Jean Monnier congress center in Angers, the fifth edition of the Loire Valley wine competition rewarded the best AOP (Protected Designation of Origin) and IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) cuvées from the Loire vineyards.
Following a strict protocol, 80 trained jurors tasted and scored on a digital tablet 725 samples, mostly from the 2021 vintage, exceptional for its freshness, its crunchiness and its beautiful aromatic expressions

Vineyard Ambassadors
They distinguished 233 cuvées: 130 gold medals, 81 silver medals, 22 bronze medals.
