2023 is officially over, and on the night of Sunday, the turn of the year was celebrated to a greater or lesser degree.
In the days before and after the big New Year’s celebration, several people have taken to social media to say goodbye to the old and say hello to the new. Among those who have reflected on the year behind us is influencer Sophie Elise Isachsen (29).

In a post on Instagram’s story function, she makes no secret of the fact that 2023 has been tough.
“2023 started as the worst year of my life, and after that it felt like one accident replaced another,” she writes at the beginning, listing various things that happened in 2023.
The popular influencer and TV profile mentions, among other things, that she was through a media storm, lost an unborn child and lost friendships. At the same time, Isachsen lists positive things that made 2023 end better than it started.
“Now I feel that everything has happened for a reason, I am really SO ready to become a mother with all the experiences I have”.
The year of love
Several celebrities have taken to Instagram to summarize the year that has passed, including Emilie Nereng (28).
The 28-year-old has had an eventful year, to put it mildly, and writes on Instagram that it will be difficult to top 2023.
“Never before have I been more confident in myself or happier in everyday life,” she writes.
Among other things, the influencer highlights several highlights and experiences with her boyfriend, Michael Hansson (33), who topped off with a surprise proposal in mid-September.
TV profile Tonje Frigstad (23) also looks back on last year with gratitude.
Like Nereng, the former “Farmen” participant’s 2023 has also been filled with a lot of love. At the turn of the last year, she shared a picture of herself and Birk Ruud (23) which really set fire to the romance rumours, and in the year that followed, love has blossomed. Now they are lovers and cohabitants.

“For me, 2023 has been filled with so much gratitude. I got to spend a lot of time with people I love and got to know so many wonderful people. I’ve got a boyfriend, who suddenly became a roommate in our shared flat”, is one of what Frigstad writes about last year.
Clear call
Influencer Marna Haugen (42) reveals on Instagram that she is starting the new year with a new challenge.
“I’m starting the new year with a sugar-free January, lord have mercy,” writes the 42-year-old – before summarizing last year:
“The year I fell head over heels in love with the best man in the world, got a proper job, adopted a dog but also dealt with a lot in private life, and taught me that you don’t have to do everything alone. May this year offer the most precious thing we have; time together, time for yourself and time for others,” writes Haugen on Instagram.
Princess Märtha Louise (52) has also shared a clear wish for the new year on Instagram. She dreams of peace.

“It has been a year filled with many good things to be thankful for, overshadowed by the most horrific acts happening in the world. The world is on fire, not only from the literal fires caused by global warming, but also from the fires of war,” writes the princess at the beginning.
The 52-year-old hopes we will see more peace in the coming year.
“I am focusing on love for 2024, bringing more love to the world. Seeing love, feeling love. I pray that the world will finally receive love. That love prevails and that we all wake up to a world driven by love, not fear and destruction. I think we have potential. I believe in us people and the best in us,” she writes in the post.
