2022 World Cup Qualifying Results: France Defeats Kazakhstan 2-0

The ball was forwarded to Antoine Griezmann who then struck the ball into the goal. But this goal was disallowed because Griezmann was caught offside first.

Chance for France in the 58th minute. Martial’s curled shot crossed the player’s fence and headed towards goal, but Mokin was observant and brushed off the ball.

Another chance for France three minutes later. Kylian Mbappe played a one-two pass with Dembele, then fired a shot which the keeper cleared.

Kazakhstan are looking for trouble when they try to play the ball from the defense in the 69th minute. Mokin’s sweeping ball was taken by Leo Dubois who then sent a cross and was struck by Dembele’s header. His header slid into the goal and Mokin pushed over the goal.

A similar situation occurred two minutes later. Marat Bystrov lost the ball to Wissam Ben Yedder, who then found Mbappe in the box. Mbappe’s strike stung Mokin’s hand, who was able to secure the net again.

Penalty! France got a penalty after Mbappe was brought down by Alip. Mbappe stepped forward as the executor, but his shot towards the bottom right corner was pushed over by the goalkeeper!

France had asked for a penalty in the 92nd minute, after Moussa Sissoko fell in a duel with Astanov. But the referee didn’t see it as a foul.

Mbappe also got a chance a minute later, but was thwarted by Mokin. The match is complete without any changes in the score again.
