SATURDAY JANUARY 16 – FREEDOM MARKET
The National coordination # StopLoiS SécuritéGlobale, of which the CGT is part, calls for new marches of freedoms everywhere (See the appeal leaflet here). In Bourg, it will take place at 3 p.m., departure in front of the Prefecture, direction Place de la Comédie. Below is the local tract. In Lyon: meeting at 2:00 p.m. in front of the IGPN, 225 cours Emile Zola in Villeurbanne (Metro Gratte-ciel).

SATURDAY JANUARY 23 – INTERPRO: NO TO LAYOFFS AND JOBS
Under the pretext of the health crisis, social plans have been multiplying for months, especially in the largest companies, favored by “emergency” legislation. Countless mobilizations, located in the companies concerned, have taken place. At the initiative of the CGT TUI France, a front of “fighting boxes” has been created and calls for a national demonstration in Paris: meeting at 2 p.m. in front of the National Assembly to demand the ban on dismissals (see the map here – not exhaustive! – of the 79,633 massive layoffs recorded for 2020).
TUESDAY JANUARY 26 – NATIONAL EDUCATION: ON STRIKE AND AGM!
A budget far from translating an educational ambition, a state of fatigue of all staff never reached, exhaustion due to years of degradation of working conditions … Not even to mention the health situation. Education staff are fed up with it. The CGT Educ’action calls on all staff to prepare and join in the strike and the mobilization. THURSDAY FEBRUARY 4 – INTERPRO: DAY OF CONVERGENCE OF ALL STRUGGLES!
The health crisis linked to the Covid-19 virus, which has worsened the economic, social and environmental crisis that we have been experiencing for several decades, is for a great many companies, especially the largest, the pretext to restructure by removing tens of thousands of ‘jobs. Not to mention the tens of thousands of precarious employment contracts (fixed-term contracts, interim, seasonal…) stopped or not renewed. Gold work is a universal right for everyone. January & February: CGT, FSU, Solidaires, UNEF, UNL, MNL, FIDL organizations mobilize for the preservation and development of employment and public services, against precariousness.
