Conad brand dark chocolate withdrawn: plastic fragments present

Through a press release published on its official website, the Ministry of Health reported the recall of the product “Dark Noir – 72% cocoa extra dark chocolate” sold under the Conad brand, due to the possible presence of hard plastic fragments. The supermarket chain itself disclosed the problem. The characteristics of the withdrawn product

The recall concerns lots L1330004 and L1328941 of the product “Dark Noir – Extra dark chocolate 72% cocoa”, sold under the Conad SC brand and produced by Chocolats Halba in the Salinenstrasse 70 plant, Prattlen – Switzerland. The chocolate is sold in packs of 100 grams, it expires on 30/10/2021 and is recognizable by the EAN code 8003170023710. On its website, Conad specifies that the withdrawal of the product took place following the continuous control process by its supplier. , which highlighted the possible presence of hard plastic fragments in the dark chocolate bars.
