SPIELBERG – Pramac Ducati racer, Jack Miller, recorded the fastest lap time during two free training sessions (FP2) MotoGP Austria 2020. Paving at the Red Bull Ring Circuit, Miller successfully incised a record of 1 minute 26.475 seconds.
The two free training sessions were actually carried out in mixed conditions of dry and wet. Because, there was heavy rain before the free practice session started, which then made the third and fourth corners dry for a long time because they were inundated by water.
Because of this, most riders decided to stay in the pits until the last five minutes when the track was finally dry enough. Miller himself recorded only five rounds in this session.

Although Miller recorded the fastest lap time in this second session, he was unable to get past his score in free practice one (FP1). Because, during one free practice, he was able to record 1 minute 24.724 seconds.
Likewise what happened to the other racers. They did not seem optimal to progress in this second session because of the unsupportive track conditions. Brad Binder and Pol Espargaro didn’t even play in this second session.
Pol is actually the owner of the fastest lap times in the one free practice session. Maybe that’s what made Pol reluctant to take the risk of going back on the track, given his good timing.
