Video game publisher Wired Productions and developer Hello There Games today announced that AVICII Invector is available as a free demo for the Nintendo Switch. The title was created in collaboration with the producer, performer and songwriter Tim “Avicii” Bergling developed. The new Encore Edition will now be released with 35 songs on September 8th – the artist’s birthday.
Only on the Nintendo Switch can gamers experience Tim’s vision the way he wanted it: how, whenever and wherever you want. With up to three other players in local multiplayer, fans float through the melodies, glide through all the fades and hit every beat in the 35 greatest hits from AVICII. All royalties on this version benefit the Tim Bergling Foundation. With a Metacritic score of over 80%, Tim not only succeeded in creating a game that honors his music, but also in creating a really outstanding rhythm game.
In the same year that the theme song “Wake Me Up” skipped a billion streams on Spotify, players can download the track and party by watching it from 9:00 am local time Nintendo eShop search for AVICII or pre-order the game on the Nintendo website.
