A car was blazing on Wednesday. Two people had to be taken to hospital with burn injuries. A fire broke out during repair work.
On Wednesday, shortly before 12 noon, a car caught fire on Alte Bommerstrasse in Siegershausen TG. The Kemmental fire department was quickly on site and was able to prevent the flames from spreading to the building. According to current knowledge from the Thurgau cantonal police, the vehicle broke out during repair work. Two men between the ages of 66 and 89 suffered burn injuries.

The two men had to be flown with Rega to the University Hospital of Zurich after the first aid by the ambulance and the emergency doctor. The exact cause of the fire is the subject of ongoing investigations. The fire investigation service and the forensic service of the Thurgau cantonal police have started the investigation. The property damage amounts to several thousand francs.
