They intercept a trailer loaded with 63 undocumented immigrants from 8 countries

A total of 63 undocumented immigrants from eight countries, were arrested this week by the Border Patrol who intercepted the trailer where they were transported.

Immigrants from El Salvador, Brazil, Ecuador, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua and China, were within the trailer box

The incident happened late last night Tuesday January 21st in the road check that Customs and Border Protection (CBP) maintains on Interstate 35, on the stretch that connects the border city of Laredo with the San Antonio metropolitan area, in Texas.

The alert of the presence of immigrants inside the trailer came when the agents of the Border Patrol they observed that the trained dog of the CB-K-9 unit, the heavy vehicle began to bark with white cargo trailer that reached the checkpoint.

The driver of the trailer, listening to the dog’s insistent barking, accelerated the march north to stop at a nearby open field and fled the vehicle on foot. Although the agents sent the vehicle to a secondary inspection but the driver disobeyed it.

Then, the patrolmen opened the trailer box discovering that it was full of people, the 63 undocumented immigrants. Then, the agents conducted a thorough search of the area and subsequently they stopped the truck driver with trailer. The detainee is a US citizen that faces charges for smuggling people.
