The Minister of Health Alain Berset has warned of a relaxation in the fight against the coronavirus. He says he is currently cautiously confident, even if the time is right. resurgence of cases in the country. There are certainly moments that allow you to breathe and live in a more relaxed way. But that does not mean that the authorities’ recommendations should no longer be followed.

The situation will no doubt be more tense again later this year: “We will then see if we can bear this again, as a company,” continued Mr. Berset. The authorities are well prepared, but it requires the cooperation of the entire population and all businesses in the country.

“We really need to learn to live with the virus,” said the Minister of Health: distance, respect hygiene measures, wear a mask in case of lack of physical distance and the concepts of protection contribute.

“In this uncertain situation, it is certainly not a bad idea to spend the summer holidays in Switzerland,” said the Federal Councilor. It is best to give up any non-urgent trip abroad.

“But we can trust the cantons, which will do their job well. They are well prepared for it ”. The most important thing is that people remain cautious, follow recommendations and all public places adopt a concept of protection and adapt it if necessary.
