A property damage occurred on Sunday when a barn caught fire. In addition to the barn, a van and a trailer burned out.
Shortly before 11.45 a.m., the emergency call center of the canton of Thurgau received several reports about a burning barn in Oberneunforn. When the first police forces arrived, the barn on Waltalingerstrasse was already in full fire. The fire brigade moved out with around 40 people and quickly brought the fire under control, the Thurgau cantonal police said.

Nobody was injured by the fire. The barn, as well as a delivery truck and a trailer that were parked in the barn, are completely burned out. According to initial information, the police estimate the material damage at several tens of thousands of francs. The cause of fire was unclear for the moment. In order to clarify the cause, the fire investigation service and the forensic service of the Thurgau cantonal police have started work together with an electrical inspector.
