2 Children Killed After Throwing Eggs and Jokingly Celebrating Birthday Page all

DISTRICTS BOGOR, KOMPAS.com – Two girls from Cibeber Village, Leuwiliang District, Regency Bogor, West Java, died by drowning.

The two girls are AAW alias Ida (15) and SA (10).

Tragically, the two children drowned after celebrating their birthday.

Head of the Emergency Section of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Bogor Regency M Adam Hamdani said the accident occurred in the Cianiwung River on Sunday (21/3/2021), around 15.30 WIB.

“Both victims are on behalf of AAW alias Ida and SA,” Adam said in a written statement to Kompas.com, Monday (22/3/2021).

The incident began when Ida celebrated a birthday.

Her nosy friends then pelted Ida with raw eggs mixed with flour.

The condition of Ida’s hair, which was covered in eggs, was then cleaned in the river.

While washing their hair, a number of his friends came pushing him jokingly celebrating birthdays.

With reflex, Ida immediately grabbed his friend SA’s hand until both of them fell and were carried away by the fairly swift river flow.

The victim’s friend who saw the incident immediately ran away to ask for help from local residents.

The birthday celebration finally ended in disaster.

Adam said, Ida was found 3 kilometers from the point where the incident occurred at the Cibeber 1 bridge location, alive.

However, after being taken to the Leuwiliang Regional General Hospital (RSUD), the victim’s life was not saved.

Meanwhile, SA was found 5 kilometers from the scene.

SA was found dead and has now been taken to the funeral home.

“Ida was found yesterday, but his life could not be saved. Meanwhile, SA was found today dead after a search had been carried out since Sunday,” Adam said.
