The report of the Health Department reported one death and 182 additional unique positive cases to COVID-19 on the island.
Of the 182 additional unique positive cases, 173 results were obtained through serological tests and nine through molecular tests. These results bring the number of unique positive cases to 1,757, which is broken down into 973 results that have been obtained from molecular tests and 784 from serological tests.
Of this total of unique positive cases, 884 correspond to men and 873 to women.
The additional death corresponds to a 59-year-old woman from the Caguas region. Said death was reported by the Demographic Registry because the clinical picture, at the time of his death, was compatible with COVID-19, thus being classified by a doctor in his death certificate.
For its part, the Surveillance System did not record cases of deaths confirmed by COVID-19.
Deaths from COVID-19 increased to 95, of which 54 were reported by the Surveillance System of the Department of Health and 41 through the Demographic Registry.
