The popular series is currently being repeated on Belgian television, but strangely enough, the second episode was not shown. “It is no longer broadcast and no longer put online on VRT NOW,” a spokesman said. “She no longer fits the spirit of the day. The jokes are inappropriate.”
The episode will remain stored in the VRT archive: “We will not erase history.”

The second episode is entitled ‘Room for rent’ and is from 2002. The episode focuses on Dieudonné, a man from Cameroon, who rents a room from café owner Pascale. During the episodes, condescending jokes are made about his skin color. For example, café owner Pascale asks: “Are you now less brown than when you were in Africa?”
Actor Bodé Michael Owa also jokes about his skin color in the episode. “You see you must not blacken someone too soon, eh”, he says.
