The 18-year-old was the fastest driver the police stopped in a check on Friday night. He had only had his driver’s license for a few months, but lost it on the spot after the gross speeding offense.
– This is a speed check in the line of several lately. The average speed level on Dovrefjell is alarmingly high , says district leader Anders Sjøtrø in UP in Central Norway NRK.
A total of five drivers lost their driver’s license in control and 36 simplified fines were issued. The police warn that they will hold more checks in the future.
