167 new people infected with COVID-19, 79 less than on Monday



167 were diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours – 79 people less than Monday. This is shown by the National Information System.

4085 tests were performed in the last 24 hours. This means that 4.08% of new cases are tested.

59.88% of those infected have not been vaccinated.

64,736 are currently active cases.

Two people have died in the last 24 hours. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 37,206 Bulgarians have died.

There are a total of 271 patients with proven COVID-19 placed in hospitals. 30 of them are in intensive care units or clinics.

There were 22 people admitted to hospital on Tuesday. 68.18% of them have not been vaccinated.

The cured in the past 24 hours are 2021.

A total of 4,403,468 vaccine doses were given, 329 for the last 24 hours.
