159 km / h out of town: Cantonal police pulls motorbike speeders out of traffic – Freiamt – Aargau

The Aargau cantonal police caught a speedster on Thursday during a speed check. The 51-year-old Swiss Honda driver drove 159 km / h between the cantonal border (Reussbrücke Ottenbach) and Aristau-Birri. 80 km / h are permitted in the out-of-town area. After the tolerance has been deducted, there is a punishable speed limit of 72 km / h, as reported by the cantonal police.

A patrol from the Muri regional police quickly identified the driver and stopped him. The Muri prosecutor opened a criminal investigation into the so-called speeding article because of the offense.

The cantonal police took the driver’s license from the racer and confiscated the motorbike.

During the inspection, two more motorcycles with 121 km / h and 136 km / h and three cars with speeds from 108 km / h to 109 km / h were recorded.
