FORT WORTH, Texas. – What began as a fight between a group of people ended in the death of a 14-year-old teenager who died Wednesday night, according to Fort Worth police.

Authorities said the incident occurred around 8 p.m. very near the 5800 block of Trail Lake Dr.

During the altercation between several people in which apparently several shots were registered, the 14-year-old was hit by one of the shots. Authorities transferred the young woman to a local hospital where she was declared dead.

Police said multiple people were involved in the fight, but no arrests have been reported so far.
