A 13-year-old boy prevents the kidnapping of his little sister thanks to his slingshot
Hearing a scream, the boy grabbed his toy gun and stoned the kidnapper in the head and chest, sending him running away.

This kid from Alpena, Michigan knows how to aim. On May 10, he was in his bedroom when his 8-year-old sister, who was in the backyard of their house looking for mushrooms, started screaming. Rushing to his window, his 13-year-old brother saw a man, with a hand over his sister’s mouth, attempting to drag him into the undergrowth from which he had sprung.
The boy then grabbed his sling. Its first stone hit the kidnapper in the forehead, the second in the chest, reports CNN. In shock, the man released the little girl who took refuge in the house and he fled. The family alerted neighborhood acquaintances to warn them of the presence of this individual and then called the police.
The man was spotted entering a gas station toilet, where police arrested him. The 17-year-old explained that he had anger issues and was looking for someone to vent his nerves on. He had seen the little girl. He was charged with kidnapping and attempted murder. He’s in jail on $150,000 bail.
