12-year-old boy stabbed in Bronx Park – NBC New York (47)

NEW YORK – A 12-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest by a teenager on Saturday afternoon in the Bronx, according to New York City police.

The authorities’ report indicates that the event occurred at around 3.21 pm in a children’s park located at the intersection of Marble Hill Avenue yes 230^th Street in the Kingsbridge neighborhood.

The minor was allegedly stabbed with an unknown object by a teenager who fled on foot, the woman in uniform said. The victim was transported to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and is expected to survive.

Whether the suspect and the victim knew each other and the motive behind the attack is unknown. No details about the victim or the alleged attacker were released.
