THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, KOMPAS.TV – A 12-year-old boy has died imitating a YouTube video showing a stylist straightening his hair using kerosene and a match.
The victim is known to be named Sivanarayanan who is still in the seventh grade. He lives in Venganoor, near Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala, India.
From the results of the investigation, the local police revealed that Sivanarayanan tried to fix his hair after watching a video on YouTube.
The boy straightened his hair in the bathroom after watching a show of the stylist combing using fire.
Reporting from Kompas.com Sunday (28/3/2021), the child poured the ground and lit a fire while watching the video he wanted to imitate.

But unlucky, the child who was very fond of social media caught fire. He was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital.
