Seven people have been involved in accidents in the Riga region, including one pedestrian and three cyclists. Four people were injured in accidents in Latgale, but one – in Vidzeme.
In total, 103 road traffic accidents were registered in the country, of which 11 were with victims.
There were 65 road traffic accidents in the Riga region during the day, in Zemgale – 13, in Kurzeme – 12, in Latgale – seven, but in Vidzeme – six.
A total of 334 administrative offense decisions have been taken in the field of road traffic, including 166 for speeding, nine for drink-driving and four for aggressive driving.
