A drunk driver flew off the road on the N2 near Eindhoven this afternoon after a failed overtaking action. The man would have driven much too fast, after the overtaking action he steered too hard to the right. The motorist ended up on a sand hill, flipped over and ended up two meters lower in the verge.
According to a 911 correspondent, the police found the man standing in his car with his head out the window. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance. The N2 was closed after the accident. Empty liquor cans and bottles were found around the car.
