Out of 956 tests carried out, 112 returned positive to the coronavirus, ie a positivity rate of 11.7%. These are 99 follow-up contact cases and 13 cases from community transmission distributed as follows: Colobane (2), Rufisque (2), Touba (2), Cité Sipres (1), Dalifort (1), Nord Foire ( 1), Plateau (1), Keur Massar (1), Mbao (1) and Kaolack (1).
50 patients were tested negative and declared cured.
27 serious cases are taken care of in the intensive care units.
3 new deaths linked to Covid-19, recorded.
To date, Senegal has 6,698 positive cases including 4,341 cured, 108 deaths and 2,248 still under treatment.
