Eleven people from one family are among those killed in the coffin bus, according to the Macedonian website 24 Info. Some of the dead are also owners of a famous restaurant on the Skopje Bazaar.
According to Macedonian media, Gazmend Ukali (27) from Kichevo and his fiancée Albina Beluli (23) from Tetovo are among the victims. The two celebrated Gazmend’s birthday in Istanbul. He worked in the office of Kichevo Mayor Fatmir Dehari.
“If there is a living angel on earth, it was Gazmend Ukali,” Kichevo Mayor Fatmir Dehari told Sloboden Pechat.
Among the dead were two families from Debar – SM, aged 50 and his wife ZM, aged 48, as well as the spouses ER, aged 41, and AR, aged 37 years
S.M. and E.R. worked at the Debar police station, Macedonian media added.
