40 people have died from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, 295 have been cured, according to data from the National Information System.
1,033 people, 933 fewer than yesterday, have been newly diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours. This is 4.16% of those tested. For the last 24 hours, a total of 24,343 tests were performed, of which 3,211 were PCR and 21,132 were rapid antigen testing.
Thus, the total number of confirmed cases was 733,139, of which 97,317 were active. Of the newly infected, 451 were diagnosed by PCR and 582 by antigen testing. The total number of infected medics so far is 17,965. Doctors – 4,762, nurses – 5,942, nurses – 3,208, paramedics – 361 and 3,692 others. 7,276,831 tests were performed as of December 25, 2021.
The hospitalized for the last day are 146, of which the unvaccinated are 130, and the vaccinated – only 16. 4,047 are the hospitalized so far, of which 467 are in the intensive care unit.

In the intensive care unit for the last 24 hours 12 people were admitted, of which 11 were unvaccinated and 1 vaccinated, which is only 8.33% vaccinated. The total number of vaccines administered in the last 24 hours is only 1186.
The total number of deaths with proven COVID is 30,476, of which 40 have lost the battle against the viral infection in the past 24 hours. In the past week alone, the virus has killed 462 people.
